REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
The Registration Form is important. The form is available at the registration
desk the day of the session. You must fill out this form and register for every
RUSH class you are taking for credit toward a "degree". The biographical
information must be accurate if RUSH is to assign credit correctly. Please try
to use the same spelling of your SCA name each time you register. If you change
your SCA name, or register under your modern name initially, use the
registration form to let us know. Please indicate the class number, the class
name, and the time of day the class is offered. The registration staff is able
to fulfill their duties more efficiently when the forms are filled out
accurately and completely.
Some classes have limited enrollment. Your best chance at getting into these
classes is to reserve space early, by contacting the Registrar, listed on the
website or by contacting the Chancellor listed in the MEWS. Reservations are
accepted on a first come, first served basis. If the class you want is full by
the time your reservation is received, your name will be put on a waiting list.
It is the student's responsibility to submit registration forms for non-session
credits. Forms are submitted directly to the Registrar unless the event
organizers or War Regent have made other arrangements.
FEES
For stand-alone RUSH sessions, there is an event fee, the proceeds of which
shall be split between RUSH and the hosting group with the hosting group
guaranteed a minimum of 50%. Everyone attending any stand-alone RUSH session -
whether they are taking classes, teaching, or just there to socialize - is
required to pay the event fee. RUSH does not collect fees when other activities
in addition to RUSH are also occurring at the event.
All instructors of RUSH have the right to charge class fees that will reimburse
them for the cost of materials. When, possible, these costs are published in
the MEWS or on the website. These fees are to be paid directly to the
individual instructors in each class. However, instructors may change the costs
without prior notice. Please check with the instructor.
