The March 4th RUSH will be at Basehor-Linwood High School in Forgotten
Sea.  This is the same site at which Kris Kinder has been held for the
past two years.  The site opens at 8:00 AM;  classes will start at 9:00
AM. There will be classes each hour until 4:00, except from 12:OO-1:00 for
lunch.  There will be no Inn on site but there are many, many restaurants
within a mile or so.  Directions for restaurants will be at Troll.  Court
will be held at Their Majesties' pleasure after 4:00.  The site will close
at 5:30.  The Post-Revel will be from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM at Caroline
d'Ache's home.  Directions will be available at Troll.

There are various ways to reach the site.  Directions: Take your best
route to I-435 at State Ave. (HWY 24), one exit North of the intersection
of I-435 and I-70 on the Kansas City,Ks. side, near the Kansas Speedway.
Go west on State Ave. about 6.5 miles.  Turn right at the traffic light
onto N. 155th St. The high school is about 0.9 miles on your left.  The
parking lot is on your left.  For people coming from the West or East on
1-70: Take the Bonner Springs exit and turn right at the light onto K-7
going North.  Continue to the State Ave. (24/40 West) exit, and continue
to the light at N. 155th St.  Turn right and follow directions above.  In
all cases, please watch your speed.  The Basehor police are most
unforgiving!

As is usual this time of year at high schools, there are various
activities going on, some of which we did not know about when the site was
selected.  The Virtual Charter School will be testing @ 150 kids on the
computers for the Kansas State Assessments, so there will be portions of
the building that will be marked: Testing in Session - Quiet, Please; or,
No Entry - Testing Rooms.  There are only two computer rooms in the area
where we will be, and they are in the back hall, and should not be a
problem for us.  The Choir, Band, Orchestra, and Forensics students will
be leaving the building between 6:30 and 7:00 AM for competitions.  A
portion will come back around lunch time, and the rest about 4:00 -4:30.
Again, not a problem, but their cars will be in the parking lot.  They
will be asked to park away from the building.

We look forward to your joining us for a wonderful day of classes.  We
plan for the day and the weather to be perfect!
